The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) is a government agency established in 1973 by Act of Parliament No. 21. NECTA is responsible for administering the Tanzanian National Examinations. Matokeo ya Form Four 202
In April 1971, Tanzania Mainland resigned from the East African Examinations Council (EAEC) in order to administer her own examinations. The decision to join NECTA was a continuation of that action. Zanzibar exited the EAEC in 1970.
Prior to the withdrawal, Tanzania participated in overseas Secondary School Examinations administered by the Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate and the East African Syndicate from 1968 to 1971. Kidato cha NNE 2022/2023
The School Certificate and Higher School Certificate Examinations were then conducted by the Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. How To check NECTA Form Four 2022
Checking your CSEE 2022/23 results online is now available to all Tanzanian students who took the exam. There are six steps you can take to access your scores. Matokeo Kidato Cha Nne 2022-2023
- www.necta.go.tz is the official website of NECTA.
- From the Main menu bar, select “Results.”
- The “Results” window will then display all accessible Results formats.
- Then Choose CSEE as “Your Exam Type.”
- Choose the “Year” for which you wish to see the results. For example, 2022 Results will appear, and you may then select your School by name or index number to examine the results of a certain school and pupils.

How To check Matokeo ya Form Four 2022 Via SMS
Students will also be able to check their form four result 2021 via SMS by dialing a special USSD code. Instructions on how to acquire your ACSEE results via SMS are provided below.
1. Call * 152 * 00 #
2. Pick number eight, ELIMU.
3. Choose a number 2. NECTA
4. Choose the service type 1. MATOKEO
5. Choose a test type. CSEE
6. Enter the exam number and year, for example, S0334-0556-2019.
7. Select Payment Type (Tshs 100 / = per SMS)
Following payment completion, you will receive a brief message with the results.
Grades For Matokeo ya Form Four 2022/23 Form Four Results Grades
The following grade ranges will be used for the Certificate of Secondary Education exam:
(a) 75-100 = A – indicating Excellent (b) 60–74 = B+, which means “Very Good” (c) 50–59 = B, which means Good (d) 40–49 = C, which means Average (e) 30-39 is a D, which means “satisfactory” (f) 20-29 = E, which means “Not Good Enough” (g) 0–19 = F, which means fail.
N.B. Over the past few years, it has been clear that the dates and times when results are announced have changed a lot. This information has not been checked by a third party. But this article will continue to be updated as new information from the government comes in.
