Chemical Engineering Board Exam Results. Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination Results, The Professional Regulation Commission announces that 585 out of 1,032 passed the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced on Tuesday, May 24, that 585 out of 1,032 passed the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this May 2022.
The members of the Board of Chemical Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Ofelia Bulaong, chairperson; and Shirlyn Chua-Reyes and Cezar de la Cruz, members.
Registration for the issuance of professional identification card (ID) and certificate of registration will be done online in July 1 and July 4 to 7. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be announced later.

NOTE: Takers may expect of 50-60% passing rate or 5 or 6 out of 10 usually pass the ChemEng board exam. This is based on average of previous licensure examinations.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
ChemEng board exam’s verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The three-day examination covered the following major subjects: physical and chemical principles, chemical engineering principles and general engineering, ethics and contracts.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 s. 2021, the target release of results for the recent ChemEng board exam is after three (3) working days or on May 24.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2021 Chemical Engineer board exams, PRC released results after four (4) working days. A total of 321 out of 679 successfully hurdled the exams. Al Christian Regorgo Gobres from University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman led the passers with 84.00%.
In the November 2019 ChemEng board exams, PRC announced results in two (2) working days. A total of 899 out of 1,259 passed the exams. Martin Zechariah Valencia from De La Salle University (DLSU) – Manila topped the board with 86.10%.
In the May 2019 exams, results were also announced in 2 working days. PRC named 313 out of 616 who successfully hurdled the tests. John Paolo Lucin Lazarte from DLSU-Manila led the passers with 84.10%.
In the November 2018 exams, results were released online in two (2) working days. PRC named 737 out of 1,043 who passed the exams. Peter Nicholas Saquido Onglao of University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman aced the board with 84.40%.
